Want your child does not wear glasses because his eyes were minus? Have more to play outside the home. So advice from experts Queensland University of Technology is the study concluded, playing outside the house reduces the likelihood of children experiencing farsightedness.
Researchers can not explain why it could happen, but chances are by playing outside, children do more physical activity and also got a bigger splash of sunshine.
Researchers in the city of Brisbane is currently doing research for three years to find a relationship outside the house playing with a lower risk affected by nearsightedness. Dr Scott Read is looking for children between the ages of 11 to 14 years, which has a normal eye and nearsighted.
"We need the kids to school because at that moment nearsightedness usually occurs." Dr Read said as quoted by the website of The West Australian.
He said among the population of Australia, the number of nearsighted patients is increasing, now about 20-25 per cent of adult Australians have myopia. In some Asian countries, the numbers are even close to 80 percent.
Dr Read had previously been involved in research which found that short-term changes in the eye when one is doing physical exercise. Therefore, this new research will want to know more definitely whether physical exercise to be a major factor, or because a person outside the room.

Epilepsy Women Can Have Normal Childbirth
Disabled pregnant women with epilepsy at risk of obstetric complications was higher than healthy women. However, pregnant women persons with epilepsy can have a healthy baby and give birth to normal children along bangkitannya controlled.
It was announced by Chairman of Study Group Epilepsy Association of Physician Specialists Indonesia Kurnia Kusumastuti Nerves in the seminar "Epilepsy in Children, comorbidities, and the Epilepsy Foundation Disabled Women in Dealing with Hormonal Changes" on Thursday (14/6), in Jakarta.
He said the rise of the risk of people with epilepsy in pregnant women increased 23-30 percent due to hormonal changes during pregnancy.
To beware, the last great generation can cause uterine contractions so the baby could be born prematurely. When there is rise of the blood vessels constrict so that the intake of oxygen to the fetus is reduced drastically. As a result, the fetus may experience asphyxia.
However, persons with epilepsy pregnant women, said Kurnia, do not worry too much. Data showed that more than 93 percent of women with epilepsy give birth to normal, not surgery. Condition, the generation is controlled by taking antiepileptic drugs (OAE) during pregnancy until after delivery.
When controlling the generation, physicians must pay attention to the condition of the fetus. Resurrection is not controlled can be fatal, whereas the consumption of excessive OAE adversely affect the fetus. Therefore, pregnant women with epilepsy are advised to do deliveries in hospitals / clinics that have epilepsy care facilities and intensive care baby unit.
Another speaker, Chief of the Division of Child Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia Dwi Putro Widodo added, increasing the frequency of arousal in pregnant women with epilepsy is sometimes due to deliberate discontinuation of the OAE. Many pregnant women with epilepsy worry OAE side effects to the fetus.
Dwi Putro advise pregnant women with epilepsy continue to provide breast milk to infants. Although OAE out through the breast milk is generally not a problem. If the baby is sleepy continues, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Sleep Difficult For Some People Because of Afraid of the Dark
Recent research claims, sleeping problems experienced by some people may be triggered by the fear of the dark. The finding was evidenced by small-scale study to examine the influence of light on insomnia symptoms experienced by students in Toronto, Canada.
Scientists from Ryerson University Sleep and Depression Lab in Toronto used to measure the noise of the eye blink response among a group of students that when sleeping in lighting conditions and without illumination (dark). Nearly half of students who sleep less afraid of the dark admitted. Participants who had a good sleep habits tend to get used to the (unaffected) with noise disturbance, but they are difficult to sleep more anticipatory when the lights turned off.
"Those who experience sleep disturbances more easily startled in the dark compared with individuals who have a good sleep habits," said Taryn Moss, principal investigator of the study.
"As a provider of therapy, we assume that people who are difficult to sleep easily strained when the lights are turned off. Now we wonder how many people are phobic completely to the dark and not treated," he said.
The plan of these findings will be presented at the 26th annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS) in Boston. Research published in the journal Sleep in 2012.
Researchers said the new method of therapy may be needed to help adults who troubled his sleep for fear of the dark.
"We may need to add a component of therapy for these patients and harmonize the existing components to overcome the phobia of the dark. Further research is needed, but we believe we have stumbled across an unmet medical need for some people who have problems with sleep," said Colleen Carney, PhD, one of the researchers.

Why Fat People is Easy Snoring
Snore while sleeping can be experienced by anyone. But most people are overweight are more prone to snoring or snoring during sleep. Why is that?
There are many causes of snoring during sleep, due to a trivial problem but can sometimes also be an indication of serious health problems. Is estimated that nearly half of adults snore.
Snoring or the snoring is caused by a narrowing of the throat and the air will go through or over, as quoted from Mayoclinic, Saturday (16/06/2012).
One of the most common cause of snoring is the result of obesity and overweight. In obese people the excessive tissue can constrict the throat making snoring more likely.
Additionally obese people tend to have too much body fat, and some fat is collected in certain body parts like the neck and throat area.
Fat in the neck and throat will constrict the airways making it difficult to breath. When someone is lying, his position will further narrow the airways, making snoring so part of the body for trying to pick up oxygen.
And increased fat also affect good muscle tissue and lose muscle mass and loose tissue in the throat becomes so much easier to snore.
If purely due to obesity usually by losing weight can often fix the problem. But if obesity is combined with other causes, it would require further treatment.
Sometimes people who snore may also suffer from sleep apnea refers to a disruption of breathing for 10 seconds or more. Sleep apnea can occur several times in one night and interfere with normal sleep quality.
Some things could be a clue that experienced snoring more than just a sleep disorder that is common to feel sleepy during the day, frequent urination when the night or early morning headache.
